About PB Blind Massage
PB Blind Massage at 4A Jalan Thambipillay in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, was set up by former Paralympian Lee Seng Chow, reportedly in 1983, and is described as Malaysia's first blind massage centre. The founder's aim was to give visually impaired people a place to learn massage skills and earn a dignified living, and the centre is still staffed by trained blind therapists.
Treatment is based on traditional Chinese massage, with Thai and Swedish techniques worked in. The shopfront is simple, but there is a sauna room on the premises, and the team also takes corporate on-site massage bookings.
The centre opens daily from 10am to 10pm. It sits in the Little India area of Brickfields and is reachable on foot from KL Sentral or the Tun Sambanthan monorail station, which makes it easy to combine with a visit to the neighbourhood.
